Templates Cut the tabard and pocket shapes from thin card, in the colour of your Unit tabards. The arms could be from white or skin-toned thin card, to match the head. In some places you can buy coloured cotton balls, but mostly they come in white. White cotton balls can be dyed with fabric dye or food colouring bit it takes some practise. Alternatively, you can colour rosy cheeks with a wax crayon onto a white head.
