Ryan Cook slides the TMC in Radnor Forest Photo: Heike Lowenstein/peoplespaces.co.ukRyan won’t be particularly happy with either his seventh overall result in round one, or his fifth in round 2. But he will know that the championship is far from over yet. Having scored a superb third in the championship in 2003, despite enduring a year full of challenges, Ryan knows that all is not lost.

The new points system for 2004 allows competitors to drop their worst scoring days from the points total, so this guy is still one to watch again in 2004.

When consistency follows his outright pace, and it will, then Ryan will be in a strong position for the outright honours.

Ryan’s immaculately prepared Land Rover Special has got to be one of the most powerful cars on the circuit, and is certainly one of the nicest sounding.

The Tunbridge event should play to all Ryan’s strengths. His vehicle is well suited to the fast stuff and he was third here in 2003.  Ryan will be hoping to better that this year.

Father and son team Chris and Ryan Cook are perfectly capable of upsetting the established order.
