Driver:  Martin Cox

Martin Cox has no time to admire the view in Radnor Forest Photo: Heike Lowenstein/peoplespaces.co.ukWith a whole season of Goodyear MSA British Off Road Championship events under his belt in 2003, Martin and crew have arrived in 2004 stronger than ever.

Once again the team have used the closed season well by making significant evolutions to the vehicle and by learning from any mistakes in the previous year.

Martin and Paul will be pleased with their sixth place in the opening round followed by a strong seventh overall at the arduous Ellesmere round.

With the car and the crew ever improving Martin will be looking to break into the top five in the next couple of events. If all goes well there is no reason why they can’t. The extra wheelbase that they run with the 100" Tomcat rather than the 88" of John Cockburn will give them the advantage on the fast sweeping gravel tracks and will also prove beneficial in the rough.

Martin Cox is a farmer from Cambridgeshire and  is relatively new to off road motorsport, although he admits to having driven around the farm since he was seven and has eleven years of stage rallying experience under his belt!

With ambitions, to finish, to win and to above all have fun, Martin can’t go wrong with the Goodyear British Off Road Championship this year.

Backed by Ouse Valley Bait Co Ltd, Martin has a well prepped Bowler Tomcat at his disposal and should be looking for strong results this year.
