Tim has dominated the championship this year from the front. Outright wins in three out of four Hillrallies this year is an awesome acheivement in a quiet year, but Tim has managed this amongst very competitive competition. The return of Tim Marsh, and a very on form Hugh Haines were just two of the fastest names who took on Dilworth this year, but neither were able to match his sheer speed and consistency.

Tim has lots of people to thank for his results this year apart from his own efforts both on and off the track. Co-driver Anthony Brinkman has worked hard at finding those extra seconds, and Dilworth's team have worked miracles at times putting the vehicle back together in short services. His results have at times this year depended also on the generosity of his opponents. If it wasn't for the fact that the Simmonites leant him a diff at the Scottish, and Dave Egginton pulled him out of a ditch on the Marches, things could have been quite different.

I think it is fair to say that Tim Dilworth and team have leaned heavily on luck this year, but they have also made this luck by sheer effort and hard work. These guys have really earnt this title this year.
