Richard Kershaw One of the fastest teams to come out of the Northern Off Road Club for some years, Richard Kershaw took the off road world by storm in 2001 by blitzing the competition at the Off Road Motorsport magazine's Virtual Hillrally on Salisbury Plain. Richard led most of the first day and was only halted by mechanical problems after that. By which time he had done enough to establish himself in the top ranks of off road racers in the UK.
The Amaterati comes from the stable of Matt Lee's Mattseratti which is a proven design. Similar vehicles have has been successful in both the hands of it's designer, Matt Lee and those of Tim Phelps who won the All Wheel Drive Club national championship in his 3.5 litre powered version. Expect fireworks from this team. Richard is not likely to make a steady start, but will go out with all guns blazing.
