Simmbugghini: Engine: 4.8litre, 8 Cyl vee formation Transmission: Manual, permanent 4WD Tyres: Goodyear Wrangler MT/R Class: 3H Sponsors: ATS Euromaster Update The first round of the championship in Tunbridge Wells ultimately spelt disaster for the team from Abergavenny. A broken clutch led to the team's retirement from the first round. Before their retirement though Keith and Sally showed they were serious contenders by chasing reigning champion, Paul Choat, hard. Not all is lost, though, with a five round championship and with each round to count anything can happen. Round two saw a better result for the Welsh team, again showing they have the pace Keith and Sally ran with the leaders, before finally settling for a sensible second place, notching up some valuable points.

Keith Lewis In recent history Keith Lewis has swept all before him with an impressive set of results. He came second in the 2000 AWDC Championship and more recently won the very competitive Off Road Motorsport Magazine Virtual Hillrally outright. Keith and his distinctive yellow Simmbugghini is a serious contender for outright victory in the Goodyear British Off Road Championship. With the support of sponsors, and tyre suppliers ATS Euromaster, Keith , with wife Sally navigating is set to make a major impact this year. Keith has risen through the ranks of off road motorsport at great speed. Keith started, as many do with trials but quickly moved into speed events where his experience in Road Rallying in the Welsh lanes would have helped immensely.
Keith's early claim to fame was to have been navigated on Road Rallies by none other than Nicky Grist, world famous navigator to Colin McRae on the World Rally Championship stage. I wonder what Nicky would make of Keith's latest steed?
