In the meantime Paul opted for some tried and tested technology and has bought one of Tim Marsh’s TMCs. This stopgap measure, which was bought so that Paul could learn about driving independently sprung vehicles whilst focusing on developing his own latest contender, became less ideal when he found that it needed a full winter rebuild. The TMC has subsequently been rebuilt with a dose of Zeal Steel magic and returns as a nicely finished and extremely well presented example of the breed. Unfortunately development on the new car has been further slowed by a series of niggly problems on the TMC, followed by a major accident at a non-championship event after the Scottish round. Once more Paul is in a race against time to get the vehicle ready for the Tunbridge round. Paul is the director of enterprising South West based engineering company Zeal Steel Fabrications and together with the help of a Audio Video expert Richie, has created a powerful beast. The vehicle developments keep coming thick and fast and the driver’s skills are also growing rapidly. Paul
