Oxfordshire based Aussie Julian Mendelsohn is a popular figure in off road circles.  On his day he is capable of truly phenomenal results, but his competition career has been somewhat turbulent. 

Once dogged by an unreliable vehicle, Julian has fought back in the last couple of years, firstly in his 5.0 litre TMC buggy and latterly in his new Bowler Wildcat 200.

The vehicle design is a proven winner, and Julian has the talent to put in some excellent results, but does he have the consistency to challenge for the overall honours?  We will have to see.  Certainly we have never seen Julian tackling a championship with a better looking package, so he could well spring a surprise or two by the end of the season.
