Trevor Milner

Enterprising engineer, Trevor Milner's vehicles are always worth a close look.  In the past fifteen or so years, Trevor has built or been the inspiration for some of the UK's most successful and interesting off road specials.

One of Trevor's vehicles came within a couple of miles of clinching the first ever MSA British Off Road Championship in 1990, in the hands of Guy
Smith.  Unfortunately a puncture got in the way. In the intervening twelve years Trevor's designs have become faster still. Always reliable, well engineered and prepared.  Trevor now leads his development from the driving seat.

His latest weapon the Milner Race Truck (R4) is the first proper attempt in the UK to make a special off road racer look recognisable to the general public.  Clothed as a Toyota Hi-Lux pick up, the Milner Race Truck is anything but a standard vehicle.  Space frame chassis, long travel independent suspension and a mid mounted Lexus V8 - this is one awesome truck.

Trevor Milner taking his first major win in the Race Truck at the Second 4x4 Festival of Wales

Trevor has already proven his latest design by winning the Second 4x4 Festival of Wales in October against stiff competition.  He hasn't rested on his laurels though over the winter closed season, expect a series of evolutionary developments to have appeared by the time the vehicle arrives on the Goodyear British Off Road Championship start line.

Trevor intends to make the vehicle available off-the-shelf in kit or turn-key form for any budding competitors.  Contact him at tech@milneroffroad.com

Ambitions for the Milner Off Road team extend beyond just winning the Goodyear British Off Road Championship to take in the All Wheel Drive Club national championships as well.  Trevor expects a busy year ahead!
