Driver:  Tom Rimell

Tom Rimell throws up the dust in Radnor Forest Photo: Paul Bentley/cautionovercrest.co.ukFifth seed Tom Rimmel showed a significant turn of speed in 2003 and has the potential to challenge for the top honours this year and outperform some of his lower seeded rivals.

Tom was well pleased with his result from the Radnor Forest event - round one. Placed fourth overall despite a weekend of considerable teething problems from a new engine.

Running with little braking effort on one of the fastest events of the year is not something to be taken lightly, yet this is what Tom had to contend with when his vacuum pump melted.  Not only that Tom also had to put up with an engine that was running well below its best.

Tom is another competitor who could do with a little more luck, he missed round two and had a propshaft fail on the Scottish Hillrally causing him to miss the Scottish round of the Goodyear MSA British Off Road Championship.  Hopefully luck will be back on his side at the Tunbridge event and he can get the result that he has been threatening for sometime.
