Bruce Tigwell

Technical editor for the superb Off Road Motorsport magazine, Bruce has won the MSA British Off Road Championship an unbeaten five times.  On top of that he has also won the All Wheel Drive Club's national safari championship
a record seven times and has scored successes in both Hillrallies and in the French Championnat Tout Terrain.

Bruce designed and built one of the first high tech cars to hit the off road scene in the UK. The Tigwell 4x4 Special came straight out of the box to win it's first event, despite only minimal testing in Windsor Great Park!  This same vehicle forms the basis for the championship challenging contender that he uses today.  Gone is the original supercharged 2.6 Shogun engine, replaced four litre BMW V8.  However much of the design philosophy of the original vehicle still remains and is still devastatingly quick and reliable
11 years after it's first event.

As well as his recent career in journalism, Bruce is also a successful businessman.  He was the chairman of the All Wheel Drive Club for many years and remains a committed AWDC member.
