Owen Timms

Owen Timms takes on all comers in the Production Classes.  His Land Rover 110 V8 is rapid and the team is backed by the expertise of Colin Aldred at Scorpion Racing.

Having made the move from a rear engined Range Rover special buggy to the production class Land Rover 110, Owen has found the results pouring in.  A first in class at the gruelling 4x4 Festival of Wales in May 2001 was then followed by a series of good results in All Wheel Drive Club and Anglian Rover Owners Club comp safaris, and was topped off by another class win at the Southern 4x4 Festival in Bournemouth.

The vehicle is fast and strong and Owen has the driving ability to be constantly up at the sharp end.  If anyone can keep the Solihull manufacturers most famous product in the limelight against competition from lighter, more nimble competition from Japan then it will be Owen.
