Despite giving away nearly 700cc to its championship class rivals Andrew West’s Land Rover Discovery is perfectly capable of upsetting the established order.

Andrew too is no mean competitor, although he has recently found fame as co-driver to the colourful Hillrally protagonist Russel Ridley, he has also competed at the top level as a driver.

After several years campaigning one of former British champion Tim Marsh’s TMC prototype specials Andrew has moved to the modified production class with the Discovery, which is more representative of sponsor Discovery Centre’s core business. Last year he won his class on the daunting Plaines et Vallees in Northern France.
