SOCIAL Saturday 21st June 2008. Dinner and Disco. To celebrate our 24th Anniversary Run the club will hold a Dinner and Disco at Charnwood Forest Golf Club. It starts at 8pm - in time for the last relay runners to get showered and changed. Price £22 per head. Bookings as soon as possible to Social Secretary Vicky Foster or email the Club. Post Run Socials. For years Beaumont Club members stopped back for a restorative drink and chat after training runs. Somehow the practice died off; but with our new vibrant and buzzing membership it's time to hit the pub again - if only for a fizzy lemonade. So, from when we start meeting at Bradgate Park, the first Thursday of the month is dedicated for a post-run social at the Bradgate Arms, Newtown Linford (which has a pleasant garden, and an adjacent conservatory in case the weather isn't so good).
