Bed and Breakfast
Why not follow in the footsteps of Alfred Munnings and stay overnight. The bed won't be the same but the hospitality will ! Accommodation

Patio and Garden
We have a patio area with tables
and umbrellas to the rear of the pub where we hold barbeques outside when
weather permits.
The accoustics are pretty good for live entertainment in this
area and on fine summer evenings the walls retain the heat of the sun well
into the night, assisted by the chimnea.

The
Garden
The garden has been re-designed with lawns, flower beds and alcove areas with tables and chairs for relaxing during those hot summer days we are anticipating in 2007. There is a lily pond with gold fish and a fountain beside the bridge and Margaret's aim is to fill the flower beds with sweet scented plants and shrubs.

Large Car Park
One of our major interests is Classic cars. We can offer a large car park to visiting motoring enthusiast groups. Don't be surprised to see Classic cars in our car park with owners enthusing over a pint of ale and telling stories of rebuilds, rallies and events. Talk to Richard about MG's and you will be a friend for life !
Live Music![]()
Our music endeavours to create an atmosphere of the 50's, 60's, Rock and Roll and Traditional Country with a touch of local Norfolk folk.
During 2007 Johnny 'Montana' will be entertaining every other Sunday lunchtimes in the bar.
The local Folk Group meets the last Thursday of each month 8.30 pm

Home Made Entertainment
We have a good pool table with plenty of room to play. The Horse Shoes hosts a Tuesday night pool team in the local league, and a ladies league darts team plays on Wednesday evenings.
In the lounge there is a traditional "Ring the Bull" played skillfully by the locals but intrigueing to visitors. Once a village past time, it is rarely seen today. Its origins date back to the 1600's.
Shove Ha'penny, Crib and other card games are enjoyed on winter evenings by the wood burner.
