Forthcoming events Fellow Lions from other clubs are very welcome to join us at all social events.
Past events
Millenium Ball	The Abingdon Millenium Ball was held at the Abingdon Guildhall with the active support of Abingdon Lions. The evening was a fantastic success and went ahead exactly as planned even though many Millenium events were cancelled elsewhere. The organisers and the local press have received many letters of appreciation.
Convention	Abingdon Lions Club were very prominent in the parade at the International Convention at Birmingham 1998
Burns Night	Abingdon Lions pay annual homage to the memory of Robert Burns and that's about all that most of them can remember! We can't put in a picture because this is not that sort of web site.
Makeyevka	Our guests from Makeyevka were entertained at many events when we accommodated them while they attended the International Convention. This barbecue was held in the President's garden.
Footers	A boys' football team from Abingdon met a team sent by the Lions Club of Abington, Massachussetts. We kindly let the visitors win 7-3.
