| Christmas Float | Abingdon Lions received assistance from several other organisations in manning the Christmas Float and at Millet's Farm. Consequently we are pleased to make the following donations in recognition of that help: Abingdon Round Table £235, Abingdon Alzheimer's Club £470, NSPCC £205, Caldecott School £180, St Helens Church £115, Matthew Thomas £65, Thomas Reade School £315, a total of £1585. We thank you all very much. |
| Vietnam School Expedition | The club voted £300 towards the expenses of a two young men on an educational expedition to Vietnam. |
| Washing Machine | The club voted £320 to enable a needy family to purchase a new washing machine and tumble dryer. |
| Abingdon Alzheimer's Club | The club voted £300 for Abingdon Alzheimer's Club. |
