THE ROCKET HOUSE GARDENS

These ornate gardens were on the site of the old Rocket House at the top of the Gangway. They comprised a series of shelters, seats and a goldfish pond. Just below the gardens, to the right, is the top of the old lifeboat shed that housed the sailing lifeboat after the new motor lifeboat was stationed on the end of Cromer Pier. To the left can be seen a row of guest houses at the top of the East Parade Crescent.
