Here we see part of the Sheringham Golf Links, with the
Clubhouse in the distance. To the left of the picture are the two
hotels, the Grand and the Burlington, whilst Beeston Bump
dominates the skyline. The railway can just be glimpsed on the
far right with some carriages standing in the sidings next to the
practise links. A great many Sheringham cyclists learned to ride
their bikes on that part of the links, insisting there was a right of
way, but many was the time they had to dodge the flying golf
balls and avoid the wrath of the green-keeper!
