Down under the bridge, seen in the previous photograph, there is
access to the promenade via two slopes, and this shows a view
taken from the east slope of the two. A sunny day, a calm sea
lapping over golden sands and people strolling along the ‘prom’,
what more could you ask? Many beach-huts are in evidence to
afford some protection from the easterly breezes, although not
required today, it seems, as there are many ‘sun-worshippers’
lazing in deck-chairs or just paddling in the sea.
