Many people in Bean have been inconvenienced by the long running works for Thames Water Utilities.

Plans seen in advance seemed to indicate a small scheme to relieve flows in the River Darent. Plans seen in advance seemed to indicate a small scheme to relieve flows in the River Darent. Twelve months later there is mud on many roads and footways and frequent damage.
