Bidborough Colts Enjoyed Another Great Season in 2008.

We ran squads in each of four age groups, three in the Border League, and the U9s in the KCB Mini Super 8s competition.

The U14s friendly side competed in the David Stevens memorial shield, an event that is competed annually against Leigh.

Border League season now underway - fixtures and results pages have now been updated - Complete Border League Results are Available at Border League Home Page, or via the links page

Indoor Nets have now finished all practice sessions will now take place on the Arthur Nicholson Recreation Ground.

Last year's Colts Dinner was held on Friday 10th October 2008. Details of the evening and the awards will be added here shortly.

The U9 and U11 squads are now full and we are sorry that we are unable to accept any more players for the 2009 season.

 

 

 

Welcome to the website of Bidborough Cricket Club Colts. The Club provides competitive cricket for young people in school years 3 to 10 via an established coaching programme, entering teams in local leagues and competitions.

Bidborough Cricket Club's home ground is the Arthur Nicholson Recreation Ground, located in the heart of the village of Bidborough, near Tunbridge Wells. Bidborough Sports Association provide Clubhouse facilities, and we have access to an all weather practice wicket and a mobile practice net.

We have four squads who practice and play on the recreation ground at least once each week during the cricket season. Players in school years 5 to 10 are also welcome to join us at Winter nets. These are run at the Judd School in Tonbridge between January and April.

Safe Hands

We offer opportunities to players of all abilities, and are committed to providing a safe and enjoyable player friendly environment. The Club has adopted and implemented the ECB's Safe Hands - Cricket's Policy for Safeguarding Children. A copy is available in the Bidborough Sports Pavilion, from the Club's Child Welfare Officer, and can be downloaded from the ECB website
