Bar
Management
On
5th April, the Management Committee announced that the Bar
Manager, Mrs Anne McIntyre, had resigned with immediate
effect.
The
Management Committee is recruiting an experienced bar supervisor
|
|
Admin
people
We
have also decided to recruit a part-time Admin Assistant
to provide support with accounts and office duties and to
provide cover in the Manager’s absence.
These staff replacements will cost no more than wage costs
under past arrangements.

|
Bar
& Admin people cont.
The
bar supervisor, the cooks and the admin person will report
through the manager to the Management Committee.
The Management Committee received many suggestions for the
staffing of the Club while we were looking at this issue.
All of them have been considered very carefully and thanks
are due to everyone who contributed.

Teebox
Ireland
Journalist
Karl Doyle from Teebox Ireland golf magazine paid Fife a
visit recently and made use of a First in Fife pass.
He
had these nice words to say about Burntisland: "Some
very tricky and challenging holes, some jaw-dropping views
and all this combined with a general air of bonhomie make
Burntisland a must-visit course."

Etiquette
Spot
Etiquette
is just as important off the course as on. It helps everyone
if you’ll observe these simple rules:
The “No Smoking” ban applies to the verandah
area too, not just inside! We know it’s the only dry
place, but the law states that smoke cannot be permitted
to blow back into the building. The verandah is, therefore,
out of bounds!
