The purpose of this section is to illustrate and describe as many badges and insignia of Halton Apprentices as I am able to collect. So if your Entry Badge is not included here, please send it to me either as a JPG or GIF file, or as hardcopy if you wish. I will send you my home address if you require it.
Number 1 School of Technical Training.
The badge of the school is described as, "On a Mound, a Beech Tree". The motto, "Crescentes Discimus", means, "Growing we learn". The badge incorporates the symbolic tree of learning in the form of a beech tree.
The Apprentice Wheel.
The wheel is the familiar symbol of the apprentice, varying in size and colour background over the years.
