No service details have yet been traced. It is known that he died in Salisbury
Infirmary on 9th June 1942 of natural causes, aged 24 and is buried in St Nicholas
churchyard, Porton. From anecdotal evidence, it is thought that he was invalided
out of one of the Services and perhaps because of wounds received at Dunkirk. |
