Conditions of Entry

 

1. The committee, landowners or their agents do not accept any liabilities for accidents, injury, damage or loss to horses, owners, riders, spectators or property which may occur on the Showground or the Sudeley Castle environs. Furthermore, they shall not be lliable for any action taken or expense involved as a result of injury to any animal.

 2. Any objection or protest must be handed to the Show Director in writing within 15 minutes of the finish of the event, together with a deposit of £10, such deposit to be forfeited if the objection or protest is not substantiated.

 3. The Judge’s decision will be final and the right is reserved to impose a standard in any jumping event.

 4. Age as on day of Show.

 5. The committee reserve the right to limit the number of entries in any one class, refuse entry and to alter the schedule or order of classes.

 6. It is a condition of the Show that current B.S. Approved headgear, properly secured, will be worn at all times when mounted.

 7. Galloping on the Showground is strictly forbidden. All horses and horse show traffic must keep within the limits of the Showground except when entering or leaving Sudeley Castle grounds where designated entry and exit roads must be used

  8. A horse/pony may only be entered once in each class except in the Clear Round Jumping.

 9. Entry fees will not normally be refunded but entries may be transferred.

 11. The committee regrets that Donkeys cannot be allowed on the Showground.

 12. Dogs must be kept under control and on a lead at all times.

 13. All cups are perpetual and must be returned clean and in good condition by 1st May 2009.

 14. Practice jumps will be jumped in one direction only, which is with the red flag on the right and the white flag on the left. BSJA rules apply.

 15. All children under the age of 13 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult person.

16 Jackets must be worn in Rings 1 and 2. Long sleeves must be worn in all other rings.

17 Classes 1, 2 & 3 will be judged under Table A5 (BSJA Rule 192). Competitors going clear will enter a timed jump-off section without leaving the ring; they must wait until the Judge rings the bell to signal he is ready for the competitor to start the timed jump-off section of the course. FAILURE TO WAIT WILL INCUR ELIMINATION FROM THE JUMP-OFF.
