Itinerary Home page

This seven day tour has been planned as an introduction to one of the most magical and least known parts of Italy. ‘The Enchanted Land’ takes you to Bari, Trani and Taranto, ports first founded by the Greeks where Gothic cathedrals and formidable castles look down to the sea over mazes of medieval streets. To Alberobello with its unique conical Trulli houses and to the tiny Baroque city of Lecce. We will visit cave churches with exquisite Byzantine frescoes at Matera and Mottola and complete the tour in the Greek Salentine in the extreme south of the peninsular where beautiful Otranto has a cathedral containing mosaics of a very surprising nature!

“The Enchanted Land’ is staying for four nights at the 4* Park Hotel San Michele at Martina Franca and two nights at the 4* Hotel President in Lecce. Lunch and dinner are included in the cost of the tour.

The air holiday package shown is ATOL Protected by the Civil Aviation Authority.
