The wagon was first airbrushed in BR grey and black livery. After the transfers had been applied and varnished the weathering was applied. Rust was brush painted with texture effects being added with talc. The interior of the wagon is painted to represent unpainted, rusty steel. Wet coal is both abrasive and corrosive! |
