I received the model in unpainted bare brass. The client wanted a very grimy finish, typical of a neglected BR loco. A plain black livery was applied and then matt black and greys were airbrushed over the top. Then subtle traces of dirt and rust colours, textured with talc, were added. The oily finish on the coupling rods and wheel spokes is oil! |

Seen here with the G6 is an ex-LSWR brake van. This
was also received unpainted. The client wanted BR livery applied and then toned down to make a more convincing vehicle in working condition. |
