The client gave me the wagon painted in LMS livery. He asked for a lightly weathered finish typical of "big four" days. After I had protected the transfers with matt varnish I toned down the livery with washes and used dry-brushing to accentuate detail. The wagon was finished with a light overspray of grime. |
