| The horse box was first painted in early BR red. This looked far too clean for such an old van. The finish was toned down with washes and air-brushed oversprays of grime. The open wagon is very dirty and has lost most of the paint from its rusting metalwork. Sooty grime on the LNER van is covering the bauxite paint. |
