Bruce Coates on Frimp and the sad passing of Paul Rutherford:
Hi All,As the first glimmers of Summer appear I'm afraid I'm here tell you of more autumnal matters. Firstly some of you may already have heard of the sad passing of the brilliant and pioneering trombonist Paul Rutherford - a fellow Frimper and good friend to me. One of the truly great improvising musicians - RIP Paul you'll be sadly missed.
On a lighter note the new and very exciting FRIMP season is nearly upon us. You can also buy the new duo CD: Bruce Coates/Jamie Smith In Lubenham direct from me or alternatively it'll be available as a download fromthe new FRIMP website.
