Shares and risks

On the 12th June 2001 we received full detailed planning permission. The risks that early members took in buying in without detailed permission are no longer present. Shareholders limit their risk to the value of their shares. Each household member buys £5,000 worth of shares. The Shares will be sold after the building work is finished, expected to be in Summer 2002. The main reason for buying shares is to be part of the design team and to secure a plot in the cohousing community. Plot owners are expected to have a house worth on average 10-20% more than their total costs.
