SHROPSHIRE NONCONFORMIST CHAPELS

Bettisfield Primitive Methodist chapel
Bettisfield Primitive Methodist Chapel, Flintshire
This chapel, built of brick in an unusual chequered pattern, was erected in 1879 and is still in use in 2001. The date stone reads: "PRIMITIVE METHODIST/ EBENEZER CHAPEL/ ERECTED 1879/ THE LAND KINDLY GIVEN/ BY JAMES BUTLER". This chapel is only just over the border into Flintshire, so I have continued to include it on this website (I like the chapel!)
