![]() [former] Primitive Methodist Chapel, Breaden Heath This small brick chapel was opened on the 10th June 1832. In 1851 there were said to be sittings for 100 worshippers. There were 34 at their morning service, 25 at their afternoon one and 23 at their evening service. There were, on average, 31 Sunday scholars attending the chapel then. The chapel closed in the 1980s but the building still stands. It has been converted to an undertaker's chapel of rest. Grid ref: SJ 374070. |
