SHROPSHIRE NONCONFORMIST CHAPELS

[former] Bron-y-garth Wesleyan Reformers Chapel [former] Wesleyan Reformers Chapel, Bron-y-garth, St. Martins parish
This chapel was erected by Mr Edwards as a house but converted to a chapel c. 1830. In the 1851 Religious Census there were said to be 60 sittings, and there were 30 worshippers at their afternoon service and 43 at their evening service on census Sunday. The census informant was a local preacher living at Pen-y-bont, near Lodge. The chapel's subsequent history is not known, but it does not appear on the large-scale O.S. map of 1872-3.
