SHROPSHIRE NONCONFORMIST CHAPELS

Primitive Methodist Chapel, Church Stretton
Primitive Methodist Chapel, Church Stretton
This chapel, built of Ruabon brick at a cost of about 1000, was designed by W. Scott Deakin of Shrewsbury, & built in 1906 and opened on the 6th August. It is still used as the Methodist church in 2018, the interior having been remodelled in 2006 for its centenary, and is in a good condition. A Sunday School, the small white building to the right of the chapel, was erected in 1956.
