[former] Bent Lane Primitive Methodist Chapel, Hillside, Ditton Priors This chapel has ceased to be used for religious purposes. It was sold in 1996 & is now (2002) used for storage. There is a datestone under the eaves which gives the date of erection as 18-6?, and restoration as 1903. According to the catalogue of Methodist records in Shropshire Archives the church was formed in 1816 which would be exceptionally early for a Primitive Methodist meeting. There is a conveyance for the chapel dated 1859 in the archives! Grid ref: SJ 601878.
