Morda Primitive Methodist Chapel
This small brick chapel was erected in 1871 on land bought from a Mr Peate. The foundation stones were laid on Thursday 21st September 1871. The commemorative stone has the inscription "PRIMITIVE METHODIST CHAPEL 1871" inscribed on it. The chapel was opened on Sunday January 21st 1872. A small hall has been erected next to it, probably built betwen the wars. Services were still held in the chapel in 2020 but it has now closed & was put up for sale in 2021.
