Cornerstones Baptist Chapel, Roft Street, Oswestry After the closure of the Baptist chapel in Salop Road in 1995, a house in Weston Avenue was used as a meeting place until the Baptist church purchased a warehouse & renovated it. The new building, called "Cornerstones", is situated at the corner of Lower Brook Street and Roft Street and was opened on 8 June 2002.
