[former] Quatford Baptist Chapel
A small Baptist chapel was erected in Quatford in 1825. Very little is known about it as yet, but in the 1851 Religious Census there were said to be 80 free sittings in the chapel. George Baker, a local preacher from Bridgnorth reported that at their evening service on census Sunday there were 25 worshippers. Its subsequent history is unknown. It is not marked on the 1883 O.S. 25" map, but there is a building in "Chapel Lane" shown on this map which has the outline of a chapel shape. Its O.S. grid reference is SO 738910. There is no mention of any chapel in Quatford in Kelly's Directory of Shropshire, 1895.
