An application to build this Wesleyan Mission Room (measuring 40 ft. by 20 ft.) was made in June 1861 & the application was granted provided that there wa sufficient ventilation. The Mission Room was built in that year for a meeting which had been established in 1859. It closed c. 1941 and is now used as a furniture shop. For a view of the date stone, click here.
