Hekety have been playing cutting
edge English dance music since their formation in 1997. The five-piece line
up comprises melodeons, clarinet, fiddle, bass, cittern and guitar. Hekety draw
their inspiration from a rich variety of sources including traditional English
folk, rock/heavy metal, pop, jazz, and klezmer. Improvisation and rich harmonies
are coupled with powerful driving rhythms: this band delight dancers and listeners
alike.

Old Swan
Band Thoroughly delightful rollicking country dance tunes played with
spirit and vigor by a legendary band. The resulting blend of strings and horns
makes a glorious racket that's sort of like a New England country fiddle session
joining forces with a New Orleans brass band on a hot Saturday night.
The choreographer of many fine dances, we give you Mr Dave Hunt caller
