The Farm Shop no longer exists. The season used to start in late August and end around the middle of January.

Most of our trade was through our Farm Shop and we gave it our highest priority. Our service was friendly and informed- most of the assistants knew a lot about fruit and how it was grown at Cross Lanes, all had a good understanding of the fruit in stock.

The choice was amazing. Apples, pears and plums that really taste were the secret.

We also used to attend a number of local Farmers Markets as below. Hopefully other apples producers will replace us at these. :

  • Reading *
  • Maidenhead
  • Abingdon
  • Wallingford
  • Henley
  • Beaconsfield *
  • Little Chalfont *
  • Ascot *
  • Purley *
  • Newbury *
  • Oxford - Gloucester Green
  • Oxford - Summertown
  • Oxford - Headington

Markets marked * are run by the Thames Valley Farmers Markets cooperative (TVFM) of which Cross Lanes was an accredited member. To visit their site click here.

Other markets are run by the local councils, individuals or other organisations. Details of markets accredited by the National Farmers' Retail and Markets Association (FARMA) are on their website
