| Our Farm Shop is open from
Wednesday to Sunday, 10am to 6pm in season. The season start in late
August and ends around the middle of January.
Most of our trade is through our Farm Shop and we give it our highest priority. Our service is friendly and informed- most of the assistants know a lot about fruit and how it is grown at Cross Lanes, all will have a good understanding of the fruit in stock. The choice is amazing. Many varieties and for each variety a choice of size . Go for the top quality fruit which will store or choose the 'Specks'. These are slightly marked or misshapen fruit sold at low prices. Apples, pears and plums that really taste are the secret.Through the season we sell all the different varieties grown at Cross Lanes so each time you visit there will be different ones to try! We have a number of varieties grown in large quantities which will be available for many months (Cox Orange Pippin from early October to January ) but many others which will only be available for a week or so until the next one is ready.
The 'how to find us' page gives details of where we are and how to get here, however if you can't we do attend a number of local Farmers Markets. We attend these at:
Markets marked * are run by the Thames Valley Farmers Markets cooperative (TVFM) of which Cross Lanes is an accredited member. To visit their site click here. Other markets are run by the local councils, individuals or other organisations. Details of markets accredited by the National Farmers' Retail and Markets Association (FARMA) are on their website
