On Apple Day there are exhibitions, guided walks around the orchard, apple tasting of over 30 varieties, local produce for sale apples, pears, juices, cakes, pies plus local plants and honey. There are also children's games and a quiz to make it a day out for all the family. Entrance and car parking are free.

Apple Day 2008 will be held on Sunday 12 October from 10am to 5pm More information nearer the time

Spring Open Day

Often in the Spring Cross Lanes opens the gates to invite people to enjoy the wonderful apple blossom. Regretfully in 2008 due to the extraordinary weather conditions and exceptionally cold spells the blossom appeared somewhat spasmodically so Cross Lanes did not hold a Spring Open Day. Watch for dates in 2009.
