Cross Lanes Fruit Farm used to be a small orchard and Farm Shop near Reading in southern England growing apples, plums and pears. It was a thriving business with a committed and loyal customer base aiming to provide the best of British.
Many replanting programmes both to renewed traditional varieties and added some exciting new ones to the collection. Over sixty different varities of apples, plums and pears were grown ranging from some old English favourites like Blenheim Orange and Cox Orange Pippin to newer ones like Jupiter and Katy. Over the season, which ran from late August until mid January you could experience different tastes and flavours each week.
The farm was sold and the Farm Shop closed in August 2015 .
