The Old Methodist Chapel was built in 1888
and was only converted to a house in the early 1990s. We offer you comfortable
bedrooms either in the Stable (double bed, private bathroom and French
doors onto the secluded courtyard garden), or in the Retreat (twin beds,
en-suite shower room). A good, Suffolk breakfast is served - fruit, cereals, free range eggs, famous Peasenhall bacon, delicious pork sausages, and toasted organic bread with preserves and honey. Organic and/or locally produced ingredients are used where possible. Yoxford is a pretty village within easy reach of the Heritage Coast - Southwold, Walberswick, Dunwich, Minsmere (the R.S.P.B.'s flagship reserve), Aldeburgh and Woodbridge - and interesting inland towns such as Framlingham, Debenham and Halesworth. Yoxford village itself is unusual due to its early commercial importance, so although the population is less than 1,000, there are three pubs, two restaurants, a secondhand bookshop, antique shops, art galleries and food shops. |
