Introduction

The Elmbridge and Runnymede Talking Newspaper (EARTN) runs its recordings with Presenters ‘A’ and ‘B’, usually one man and one woman. The Recording Supervisor has a copy of the script, while each Presenter has a folder containing the script and six divisions containing the individual newspaper cuttings for the various sections of the news digest and any other additional items that are to be included in that week’s edition. .

Presenters are recruited from existing volunteers who have expressed a wish to read for the Talking Newspaper, as it is essential that anyone doing this should have experience of the day to day operation of the Elmbridge and Runnymede Talking Newspaper
