As you may have guessed, this website is not named for nothing. Equiton is a form of music notation devised by R. Fawcett in the 1950s. I have completely revised the rhythmic notation so that it is beat-centric rather than timeline centric. I have also made some other minor alterations to clefs and other things.

I hope to provide some samples of music written in Equiton, on the Music Writings blog page. In the meantime, take a look at the presentation, and if you have any questions, please email me.
