Bawsey
This was the parish church at Bawsey near Kings Lynn in Norfolk, England. A sixteenth-century landowner apparently destroyed the entire village and turfed out its inhabitants to use the site as farmland, but left the church. Presumably he thought God might take it amiss if he touched that.
